Getting started
GraphoOS is a native IDE for your machine — Floem on wgpu, not a browser in a desktop frame. Edit, debug, git, terminal and agents share one GPU window.
What it is
| Surface | Role |
|---|---|
| Editor | Rope buffers, LSP, Vim keymaps, command palette |
| Agents | Assistant with explicit permissions; AiloOS in the cloud or EmpoorioLM on the machine |
| Remote | SSH and WSL keep the UI local; only the proxy moves |
| Plugins | WASI modules with capability grants |
Apache-2.0. Current public build: 0.5.0-beta.2.
Install
On Apple Silicon, download the DMG from Downloads and drag GraphoOS into Applications. The current build is signed ad hoc: first launch is right-click → Open.
Linux, Windows and Intel Macs build from source with Rust 1.98+ in about ten minutes.
Full steps: Installing.
First minutes
- Open a folder. The file tree, search and the editor share one GPU window.
- ⌘P / Ctrl+P finds a file. ⌘⇧P / Ctrl+Shift+P opens the command palette.
- Settings are TOML. Theme, icons, keymap and format-on-save can live next to the project.
- ⌘⇧A / Ctrl+Shift+A opens the assistant. You review the diff.
- The terminal runs in the workspace.
